Website Privacy Notice

Version 1.3 · Effective 2026-08-15

This Website Privacy Notice explains how Huk Innovation Group LLC ("HIG", "we", "us", "our") handles personal information collected through hukinnovationgroup.com (the "Site"). Huk Innovation Group is a studio based in Virginia, owned and operated by Paul Henry and Brian Peacock.

This notice covers the marketing website only. It does not cover the Huk Innovation Group software products. Personal information handled inside the Huk Marketing Platform, the Huk Blueprint Platform, the Huk Scoreboard, the Huk Front Desk Platform, or the client portal room is described in the Privacy Policy. If you are a customer or a user of a product, read the Privacy Policy as well.

1. The short version

The Site is a marketing website. It has no analytics, no advertising, no pixels, and no tracking cookies. The only information you actively give us is what you type into the contact form. We use it to answer you and to follow up about HIG's products and services. We do not sell it and we do not share it for advertising.

2. What we collect

Information you give us through the contact form. The Site includes one public contact form. When you submit it, we receive:

The form also includes a hidden field used only to detect automated spam submissions. It collects nothing about you.

The contact form is the only place on the Site where you can submit information to us. The Site has no account signup, no login, no newsletter form, no comment system, and no e-commerce checkout.

Please do not send confidential or sensitive information through the contact form. It is an ordinary business inquiry channel, not a secure one. Do not submit financial account numbers, payment card numbers, Social Security or other government identification numbers, health information, or login credentials. The Website Terms of Use explain this in more detail.

Information generated automatically by hosting. Like any website, the Site is delivered by servers that create technical log records when your browser requests a page. Our hosting and edge provider generates and retains these records, which typically include:

HIG uses this log data only for security, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, and keeping the Site running. We do not use it to build a profile of you, to target advertising, or to track you across websites or over time.

We do not collect anything else. The Site does not ask for and does not receive payment information, precise location, contacts, device identifiers for advertising, or any special category of sensitive personal information. We do not buy personal information about visitors from data brokers or enrichment services, and we do not combine your contact form submission with purchased data.

3. How we use it

We use contact form information for these purposes only:

  1. To respond to your inquiry. Your message reaches us as an email, and we reply to the email address you gave us.
  2. To follow up about HIG's products and services. If your inquiry is about working with HIG, we may follow up with related information, a proposal, or a scheduling request.
  3. To keep a record of the correspondence in the ordinary course of business, including for reference if we later work together.
  4. To protect the Site, including detecting and preventing spam, fraud, and abuse of the form.
  5. To meet legal obligations, including responding to lawful requests and preserving records when we are required to.

We use server and edge log data only for security, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, and Site operation.

We do not use anything collected through the Site to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you, and we do not use it for profiling.

Unsubscribing from follow-up. If we follow up with you and you would rather we did not, reply and tell us, or email [email protected], and we will stop.

4. Cookies and tracking, stated plainly

The Site sets no cookies, uses no analytics, and runs no advertising or tracking technology.

Specifically, the Site does not use:

Because the Site sets no cookies and runs no trackers, there is nothing on the Site for you to consent to or opt out of, and no cookie banner is presented. There is also nothing for a Global Privacy Control or other opt-out preference signal to act on with respect to the Site. If that changes, we will update this notice and the Cookie and Tracking Notice before the change takes effect.

For how cookies are handled in the Huk Innovation Group products, which do use strictly necessary session cookies to keep you signed in, see the Cookie and Tracking Notice.

5. Who we share it with

HIG does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not disclose contact form submissions to third parties for their own marketing.

We use a small number of service providers to run the Site and deliver our email. Each is bound by its own agreement with us to process information on our behalf and for no other purpose. They are:

ProviderWhat it does
Cloudflare, Inc.Hosts the Site, serves it through its global edge network, and runs the serverless function that processes the contact form. Cloudflare generates and retains the server and edge log data described above.
Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.)Delivers the contact form submission to HIG as an email message. Your name, email address, and message pass through Resend for that delivery.
Google LLC (Google Workspace)Hosts HIG's business email. Your message arrives and is stored as an email in an HIG mailbox on Google Workspace.

Your contact form submission is delivered to an HIG business mailbox with the reply-to address set to the email address you provided, so that we can reply to you directly.

We may also disclose personal information:

6. How long we keep it

Contact form submissions. Submissions are not written to a database. They exist as email in HIG's Google Workspace mailbox and are retained under HIG's ordinary business correspondence practice: we retain contact form email for three years from the date of the last communication in the thread, then delete it. If the inquiry leads to an engagement, the correspondence becomes part of that customer or client record and is retained under the retention terms of the applicable agreement instead.

We may retain a submission longer where we are required to by law, or where it is needed to establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim, and we will keep it only for as long as that purpose lasts.

You may ask us to delete your contact form submission earlier. See Section 7.

Server and edge log data. Log data is retained by our hosting and edge provider under that provider's standard retention period, which is short, generally measured in days rather than months, and is then deleted or aggregated. HIG does not maintain its own separate archive of Site log data.

7. Your privacy rights

HIG honors these rights for every Site visitor in the United States, regardless of the state you live in. We write to the California standard because it is the strictest, and applying it uniformly is simpler and better for you than sorting visitors by state.

Your rights. Subject to verification and to limited exceptions in the law, you may:

How to exercise them. Email [email protected] with your request. Tell us what you are asking for and include the name and email address you used when you contacted us, so we can find the correspondence.

Verification. Because we hold so little, verification is usually simple: we confirm the request comes from the email address that submitted the form, or we ask you for details only the sender of that message would know. If we cannot verify you to a reasonable degree of certainty, we will tell you and explain why, and we will not disclose personal information to an unverified requester.

Authorized agents. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We will ask the agent for written proof of authorization signed by you, and we may ask you to verify your own identity directly with us.

Our timeline. We will confirm receipt of your request within 10 business days and respond substantively within 45 calendar days. If we need more time, we will tell you before the 45 days are up and take no more than an additional 45 calendar days, for a maximum of 90 days total. Appeals are answered within 45 calendar days.

California "Shine the Light." California residents may request information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for those third parties' own direct marketing purposes. HIG makes no such disclosures. Requests may be sent to [email protected].

8. Children

The Site is not directed to children, and HIG does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 through the Site. HIG's products and services are sold to businesses, not to children or to consumers for personal use.

If you believe a child has submitted personal information through the Site, email [email protected] and we will delete it promptly. We do not sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16, and we have no actual knowledge of ever having done so.

9. Security

HIG applies reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to information collected through the Site. The Site is served over HTTPS, sets standard security response headers, and disables camera, microphone, and geolocation access at the browser level. Contact form submissions travel over encrypted connections and land in an access-controlled business mailbox.

No method of transmission over the internet and no method of storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. HIG holds no security certification, and this notice should not be read to claim one. Please do not send confidential or sensitive information through the contact form.

10. United States only

The Site and HIG's products and services are intended for users in the United States. HIG is a Virginia limited liability company and processes information in the United States. This notice is written to United States federal and state privacy law. It does not address the General Data Protection Regulation or any other non-United States privacy regime, and HIG does not offer its products or services outside the United States.

If you access the Site from outside the United States, understand that your information will be handled in the United States under United States law, and that its protections may differ from those where you live.

11. Changes to this notice

HIG may update this Website Privacy Notice. When we do, we will change the version number and effective date below and post the updated notice on the Site. If a change materially expands what we collect or how we use it, including the introduction of any analytics or tracking technology, we will post the updated notice before that change takes effect. Please check this page from time to time.
